I first found Lotte when I was looking for a seamstress for my wedding dress. I bought the dress in 2020, but due to covid restrictions I didn’t get married until 2022. I had lost a bit of weight and the dress didn’t fit right, but I wasn’t sure what needed to be amended. I met with Lotte and she asked me to put the dress on, and pinned it into place where she felt amendments needed to be made - even suggesting adding some padding into the cups which I hadn’t even realised didn’t fit me properly. The dress looked better than ever! When it came to the big day I had so many compliments on my dress, it looked like it was made to measure. The dress also had quite a large train which would have been difficult to dance in, so I asked Lotte to put a bustle in it. My Mum was able to bustle the dress easily on the day, so I was able to dance comfortably all night! Throughout all of my appointments with Lotte I felt comfortable and confident in her abilities, and thanks to her I felt amazing in my wedding dress.

Lotte was recommended by my wife after the amazing job she did on her wedding dress. Lotte made alterations to my wedding suit and shirts - adjusting sleeve lengths on my jacket and shirts, and waist on the jacket and trousers. I was very particular on the type of fit I wanted, and Lotte took the time to understand this and made recommendations - which is something I’ve found hard to come by in the past. The work Lotte did was faultless, and I had full confidence in her throughout. Lotte has since made alterations on another set of suits for a group where I was best man - and again was able to deliver an exceptionally high standard of work, adapting to various requirements in fit throughout the grooms party. I would absolutely recommend Lotte, and will no doubt be returning again
